Donald Richard King

Mr. King was born December 28, 1961 in Rome, Georgia, son of Fain King and Gaynell Hufstetler King. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he was very active in the Media Ministries. He was a Deacon and was a former adult Sunday School teacher.

He was employed by RGI in Marietta and had been employed in the printing industry in Cartersville and the surrounding Atlanta area since his teens.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Pam Schultz King of Cartersville; daughters, Bree King and Bailey King both of Cartersville; parents, Fain and Gaynell King of Cartersville; brothers & sister, Terry & Tisha King, Lynn & Gary Garland, Ray & Linda King all of Cartersville; father & mother –in-law, Randall and Alice Schultz of Cartersville; brothers-in –law, Greg & Nazi Schultz and Brian Schultz, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon August 26th at 3:00 P.M. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Dr. Don Hattaway officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church Media Ministry fund or the general fund.
