Danny West

Mr. West was born on October 11, 1956 in Cartersville, Georgia son of the late George west and Clara Potts West. He was retired from CSX Railroad and was a member of Brandon’s Chapel Church. He loved the Lord, Loved to work in the yard, gardening, going to yard sales and flea markets and raising chickens. He was preceded in death by his parents; Baby Dusty; sisters, Joyce McCoy, Lois Cagle, Betty Sue Davidson; brothers, Bobby West, Toby West, Larry West, Claude West and Eugene West.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Brock West; Sweet Baby Puppy, Daisy; brother, David West and wife Martha; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Shepard, Rev. Roger Luke and Rev. Steve Willingham officiating. Interment will follow in Raccoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Gary Bradley, Mike Willingham, Larry May, Bobby White, Keith west, Ricky West.
