Curtis was like his Mee-Maw, he never met a stranger. He was a kind and caring, gentle giant. According to the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter, Curtis was a “long-time friend. He always went above and beyond to help anyone in need; and was once seen actually giving someone the shirt off of his own back.” These words hold true to everyone who knew Curtis. His favorite things to do included spending time with his only son, Elijah, working out and listening to the Beetles, his favorite music group. Curtis, you are loved and missed by each of us.
He is survived by his son: Elijah McNeill, mother and father: Carol and Cecil Pitts; sister and nephew: Bonnie and Skyler Leath, special friend of the family, Robert Carter III. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive to cherish his memory.
