Mrs. Sharp was born on June 27, 1949 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late Jefferson Cell Crumley and Eunice Adele Roberson Crumley.
Mrs. Sharp enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, listening to gospel music and watching the Golden Girls on the television. The joy of her life was spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The moments she enjoyed most were when the whole family was gathered together for holidays, so she could cook them a delicious meal. She always made sure that everyone had a “to go” plate prepared for them when they went home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Sharp; daughter, Amanda Paige Turner; brothers, Forrest and Raiford Crumley; sisters, Bobbie Jeanette Cornwell and Rachel Fuqua.
Survivors include her son, Samuel (Kay) Sharp; grandchildren, Joseph Tuner and Daisy May Turner; great-grandchildren, Deasia Turner, Koby Turner, Atlanta Turner and Roller Turner; sisters, Wynnelle Weaver and Ann Pulliam; son-in-law, Steve Turner; a host of nieces and nephews also survive; special grand-fur baby that stayed by her side until the end, Queenie.
Graveside services will be conducted at twelve o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 15th of April, 2022 at Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donald Edwards and Pastor Dr. Jimmy Bryant officiating.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the evening until eight on Thursday, the 14th of April, 2022 at Owen Funeral Home.
