Caroline Jolley Hutchings

Mrs. Hutchings was born August 6, 1925 in Taylorsville, the daughter of the late Fred and Fae Jolley. She was a retired Field Representative with the American Red Cross, a member of the Bartow County Senior Center Bridge club, and was a member of Sam Jones United Methodist Church where she was very active in the United Methodist Women, Meals on Wheels and a volunteer at the church shop.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wesley Fred Jolley, Jack Edward Jolley, sisters, Elizabeth Harris, Joyce Jolley and an infant grandchild, Jessica Caroline Price.

Surviving are her children, Dr. Pete and Becky Hutchings of Johns Creek, Ga., Carole and Bob Price of Alachua, Florida, Cynthia and Gary Clark of Cartersville, Mary and Andy Wilson of Cartersville, eight grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, a sister, Dot Jones of Fuqua Varina, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Nena Jones, Rev. Martha Felden and Rev. Louis Tonsmeire officiating.

Burial will follow in Taylorsville Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Red Cross or The American Cancer Society.
