Carol Cecilia Catherine Collins

Mrs. Collins was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late, Harry and Eleanor (Kempner) Steffen,

was of the Catholic faith, a homemaker and loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sherrie Zimmerman.

Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Jack A. Collins of Cartersville, three sons, Kevin Collins, Christopher Collins and his wife, Dawn and Sean Collins all of Cartersville, three grandchildren, Kaleigh and Stefani Collins and Ashlegh Karstensen, sisters, Lauren Neuffer of Woodstock, Janine Zehe of Crystal Lakes, Illinois and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Willard officiating.

Entombment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Kennesaw.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Malamav Personal Care Home, 6183 Burnt Hickory Road, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
