Mrs. Ingram was born on July 7, 1921 in Ballground, GA, daughter of the late Tilton Corbin and Pearl Herndon Corbin.
Mrs. Ingram was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Acworth, GA for over seventy-five years. She was an avid gardener and also loved flowers. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow. She also enjoyed cooking for her family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband for sixty plus years, Leonard B. Ingram; brothers, Henry Corbin, Roy Corbin, Ted Corbin and John Corbin; sister, Grace Miller.
She is survived by her son Hubert (Betty Sue) Ingram; daughter, Nancy (Bob) Rody; grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Heater and Kevin Ingram; great-grandson, J.P. Heater; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 28th of March, 2018 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Lochridge, Jerry Corbin, Roy Miller, Mike Heater, Dale Grizzle and Tom Mayes.
