Sherry Ribble Willis

Sherry Sue Ribble Willis of Richardson, TX passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at the age of 70. She was born Dec. 19, 1951 to James Ralph Ribble and Bennena (Sally) Shrode Ribble in Dallas, TX and was the younger sister to Linda Ann Ribble. Sherry graduated from Bryan Adams High School, Dallas, TX in 1969.

Sherry met the love of her life, Randy, when they were only 9 years old through the Barbershop Quartets their fathers were both a part of. They married in November of 1969 and went on to have three children: Kelly, Tammi, and Kevin.

Throughout her life, she always put her family and friends first. From helping manage the Phillips 66 with Randy, to working with Linda and Sally to open up Linda A Ribble CPA and Ribble & Associates. She was a vital member of the Bryan Adams Reunion Committee, helping plan multiple get-togethers to ensure her classmates stayed in touch. Anyone who knew Sherry will tell you how much she loved General Hospital, crocheting, crafting, and her Starbucks Iced Caramel Macchiato.

She always went out of her way to bring joy and love to everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Ralph Ribble and her sister Linda Ann Ribble. Sherry is survived by her Mother, Bennena (Sally) Ribble of Mesquite, TX, Husband Randy Willis of Richardson, TX, Son Kelly Willis and his Wife Leslie of Dallas, TX, Daughter Tammi Willis of Garland, TX, Son Kevin Willis of Dallas, TX, Granddaughter Kristen Wilson and her Husband Doug of The Colony, TX, and Great Grandson Luca.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 27th in an open house format from 1pm to 4pm at the Willis Family Home. For address information please contact Tammi Willis at 972-333-8900.
