

Nina Ruth Farley (Kernodle), born on July 28, 1936, in Fletcher, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lois Kernodle, her brother HB Kernodle, and her beloved husband Earl Farley.
Nina moved to Dallas, Texas, as a child and attended North Dallas High School, where she met the love of her life, Earl. They married in 1954 and moved to Carrollton, Texas, in 1961. Nina was actively involved in her community, playing piano for children's church at First United Methodist Church and serving as president of the Central Elementary PTA. She dedicated many years to the Carrollton Farmers Branch school district before transitioning to the business world, where she worked as a purchasing secretary at RHD Memorial Hospital.
Nina is survived by her five children: Lori Smith, Lisa Ray (Bobby Ray), Lynda Doss (Mike Doss), Lesley Moore (Lynn Moore), and Jimmy Farley (Becky Farley). She was a proud grandmother to thirteen grandchildren: Raymond Smith, Lindsy Henrichs (Jason Henrichs), Jennifer Reif (Zane Reif), Amanda Zeiger (Matt Zeiger), Cassie Doss, Stephanie Doss, Lucas Doss, Haley Wilborn (Chris Wilborn), Alex Black (Derek Black), Jacob Farley (Jessica Farley), Joseph Farley (Emily Farley), Jarrett Farley, and Katie Farley. Nina also cherished her seventeen great-grandchildren, Lilly McClendon, Bronco Reif, Chloe and Tyler Henrichs, Zachary, Joshua, Avery and Ben Zeiger, Andrew, Bella, Adelaide, Matilda and Milo Gallina, Hank Wilborn, Ryder Black, Jace Farley and Judson Farley who brought immense joy to her life.
Nina's legacy is one of love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community. She had a great sense of humor and loved her family very much. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
