Michelle Monique Cummings

Michelle Monique Cummings, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 8, 2024. Michelle was born in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France, on July 13, 1959, to Daniel Cummings and Maezona Byrd Cummings. Michelle held dual citizenship in both France and the United States.

Michelle graduated from James Hillhouse High School in New Haven, Connecticut and attended Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut. Later in life, she relocated to Texas, where she was a career credit and collections manager until retirement.

Michelle loved baking and was often called upon to bake desserts during the holiday season. She also loved animals – particularly cats and birds. Her vibrant personality and sense of humor left an impression on all who knew her.

Michelle is survived by her children, Keith White Jr., Ryan White (Tiffany), and Corryne Williams, as well as her 8 grandchildren: Ariana, Greyson, Ella Jo, Evie, Rylee, La' Jaiy, Everett and Evaeh. She is also survived by her siblings: Danny Cummings (Paula), Phyllis Cummings-Texeira (Chris), Tony Cummings (Hope), Francoise C. Gedepoh, and Eunice LaSharn Meyers (Shaun). Additionally, she is mourned by her nieces and nephews: Danielle Cummings, Danny D. Cummings, Christian D. Cummings, Sr. Jourdan Cummings, Kennedi Gedepoh, and Blaise Gedepoh.

Michelle will be remembered for her love of family, her caring nature, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but forever in the hearts of her loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1151 S. Interstate, 35E Carrolton, TX 75006.
