Michael was born in Dallas Texas on February 6th, 1948, to Johny and Eveylena Woody. He graduated from South Oak Cliff High School and continued on to attend trade school with his cousins. Michael was married to Linda Marie Hale on December 6th,1985; they celebrated 39 years of marriage this December.
Michael worked as a welder for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 100 for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, quail hunting, gardening and spending time with his family.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Johny and Eveylena Woody, brother, Samuel Woody, sister, Leona Woody, niece, Sandra Woody, and nephew, Johny Woody.
Michael is survived by his wife, Linda Woody, daughters, Sarah Burks and Anna Woody, grandson Oliver Burks, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
