Mary Myers

Mary Louise Gardner Myers was born on November 5, 1938 and went to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 31, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Russ Wade Myers and daughter, Jana Lynn Myers. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Bill Myers, daughter Jill Myers, son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Michelle Myers, grandchildren, Lauren Myers Pauley, Zachary Myers, Drew Myers, Nick Myers, Tristan Myers and one great granddaughter, Whitlee Rae Pauley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Myers was first and foremost the daughter of the Most High King. She loved her God and served Him well. She loved His Word and devoted her life to teaching the Bible to many. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend. She graduated from North Texas State University. Mary was a teacher by trade. She loved teaching children how to read and how to use their imagination and creativity. She valued friendship and lived life to the fullest. She definitely left her imprint on this earth and in the lives of the people who loved her. And the Lord said, “Well done My good and faithful servant!” And welcomed her with open arms. She will be greatly missed by those of us here but she has received her reward in heaven in her eternal home. The family will have a Visitation on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Rhoton Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. The services celebrating her life will be at First Baptist Church Carrollton on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park – Carrollton, TX.
