Gerald Sanders

Left to celebrate his life are his 8th grade sweetheart and wife of 34 years, Sarah Bunnell Sanders, daughters Debbie Tippett (fiancé Mark Cody) and Flossie Stiles (Nigel Hauck), son Jon Sanders (wife Jodi), step-daughter, Tracy Nicks-Spurlock (husband Cliff Spurlock), Grandchildren Robin Sager (husband John), Britt Tippett, Will Tippett, Katie Tippett (fiancé Kyle Schrock), Addison Stiles (Kaitlyn Zieschang), Haiden Stiles, and Ethan Stiles, great-grandchildren Henry and Emma Sager and his brother, Randy Sanders. Awaiting Gerald on the other side is his beloved son, David.

Gerald served in the U.S. Navy, received his BBA from Southern Methodist University and worked in several fields before retiring from his general contracting business in 2000. In retirement he enjoyed building and flying remote controlled airplanes, small-ship river and coastal cruises with Sarah and time spent with his family and friends.
