She was born Caroll Anne Klitzke in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Edwin and Margaret (nee Beduhn) Klitzke on October 26, 1934.
After earning her degree in Nursing in Chicago, Illinois, she married William M. Scott, who preceded her in death. He passed away in 2003. They spent a short time in Germany before moving to Chicago where they lived for almost 20 years. Several years were spent in both Sioux City, Iowa and Dayton, Ohio before they made their final move to Dallas, Texas. Caroll’s last decade was spent at Lakeview at Josey Ranch, where she made many cherished friendships. She certainly enjoyed all the Happy Hours there!
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Devine (Irvine, California); son, Michael and wife, Christine Scott (Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania); her 3 grandchildren, Ashley Devine, Bryan Scott, and Jennifer Scott; her sister, Karen Schmid (Carrollton, Texas); sister, Kay and husband, Michael Helf (Addison, Michigan); and many nieces and nephews.
