Rolland Dean Perry

Rolland Perry, 84, of Carmel, Indiana departed this life on Monday, November 18, 2024 at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Rolland was born May 8, 1940 in Indianapolis to the late Andrew & Margaret (Tiddler) Perry. He grew up on the family farm in the Geist area and Shirley, Indiana. On April 27, 1957, he married the love of his life, Sandra C. Inman. Rolland was a kind and gentle soul who was happiest making memories with his beloved family and attending and supporting Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Carmel. Rolland was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Sandra; beloved son, Rolland Jr. and dear siblings, Andrew (Betty) Perry, Barbara (Jim) Grey, Donald (Mary Jo) Perry, and David Perry as well as his dear son-in-law, Doug Waugh and dear sister-in-law, Virginia Perry. Rolland is survived by his dedicated children, Carol Waugh, Michael (Lisa) Perry, Lisa (Larry) Maroon-Hughes and Richard (Fah) Perry; beloved brothers, John Perry and Paul (Shelby) Perry; 15 grateful grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as a host of dear friends at Pleasant Grove UMC. Graveside services for Rolland will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, November 22nd at Carmel Cemetery, 1000 North Rangeline Road in Carmel.
