Margaret "Peggy" Ann Pash

Margaret "Peggy" Ann Pash, age 80, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Peggy was born November 16, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Leona and George Harrington. After a prolonged illness Peggy died at Woodland Terrace, Carmel, Indiana from complications with Parkinson’s disease. Peggy is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Pash; her son Joseph D. Pash (Janis); her son Michael Pash (Olivia); and her son Patrick Pash (Kathy). Peggy is also survived by grandchildren, Samantha, Jaclyn, Kelly and Luke. She was “GIGI” to the grandkids, whom she loved and cherished. She was known for her Gigi tea parties and Jacuzzi bubble baths. Peggy was preceded in death by her father George Harrington and her mother Leona Harrington; her brothers George Harrington (Linda) and Patrick Harrington, USMC. Peggy was from Chicago, Illinois and through marriage became an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She taught pre-school in Buffalo Grove, IL. She began as a Volunteer at Ridge Oak Senior Housing in Basking Ridge, New Jersey and eventually became Director of this 154-unit community. Caring, loving, compassionate and warm to everyone. In retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren’s swimming and softball events. She played golf with friends at Plum Creek, Carmel, IN. She taught water aerobics and golfed at the friendly Olde Hickory Golf CC in Fort Myers, FL. Ever smiling and a friend to many. A visitation for Peggy will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road, Carmel, IN 46033, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
