Jacqueline G. Hunnicutt, 98, of Carmel, Indiana peacefully passed away June 28, 2022 with family at her bedside. She was born February 22, 1924 in Los Angeles, California to the late George and Matilda (Mueller) Fuellgrabe. She was a graduate of Los Angeles High School.
Jacqueline had over 25 years of service with Indianapolis Power and Light. During her time there, she was the first woman elected to serve on the IPL Credit Union Board. She was a member of the Dublin, Indiana Friends Church and Sedona, Arizona Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her son, Lyle (Rhonda) Hunnicutt; daughter-in-law, Nancy Hunnicutt; grandson, Marc (Heather) Hunnicutt; and great granddaughters, Madison and Allison.
Along with her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harold “Jack” Hunnicutt, son Craig Hunnicutt, grandson, Ryan Hunnicutt; and brother, Milton Fuellgrabe.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to her grandson’s nursing endowment, “Ryan Hunnicutt Nursing Scholarship Endowment” at the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation, Inc., 8402 Harcourt Rd, Suite 210, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260.
