Obituary of Finnigan Thomas Grady
Finnigan Thomas Grady passed away very unexpectedly on May 20, 2024 in Indianapolis. Finn was born on a snowy February 5, 2004 in Indianapolis to Michelle D. Grady. Finn was a 2022 Westfield High School graduate where he worked ahead to complete school one semester early, so that he could start college early in January 2022 at Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center at the Indianapolis Airport studying aviation technology. He graduated May 2023 with certifications with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings. In May 2024 he earned his Associate of Applied Science Technology degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Finn was currently enrolled at Purdue University to complete his Bachelor of Science Degree. He was employed by Republic Airways at the Indianapolis Airport. Finn will be most remembered by his crazy math skills, his quirky sense of humor, and his love of all kinds of animals. Finn is survived by his tirelessly, devoted mother, Michelle who was his greatest fan in life, his grandparents John and Darleen Grady, Peru, aunts Angie Kaufman (Cary), Kokomo, Kirsten Blakley (Ryan), uncle Shaun Grady (Kim), and tight-knit cousins Cole and Madison Grady, Aiden and Olivia Blakley all of Westfield, Audie Kaufman, Jacksonville, NC and Cass Kaufman, Oceanside, CA, and a large extended family. A visitation for Finn will be held Monday, May 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Leppert Mortuaries – Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Rd., Carmel, Indiana 46032. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Spring Mill Road, Westfield, IN 46074.
