Father Timothy Murphy

Fr Timothy Murphy, age 97, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away in Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Timothy was born March 20, 1924 in County Cork, Ireland. Fr Timothy also formerly resided in New York and Dripsey, Ireland.

He was ordained in All Hallows Dublin, June 1960. Deeply regretted, by his Bishop , fellow priests and colleagues, his family, friends, parishioners and countless people whose lives he touched in Ireland and America.

Fr Timothy is the loving son of the late Ellen and Timothy Murphy. Cherished brother of the late John, Mary (Sexton) , Jeremiah, Johanna, Julia , Danny and their extended families.

A visitation for Timothy will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904. A funeral mass will occur the following morning Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 10:30 AM also held at St Andrew Catholic Church.

A committal service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991, followed by a reception at Coral Ridge Funeral Home.
