Tara Jo Coleman

Tara married her best friend Bobby J, on October 11, 2003. The two met while serving at the Department of Defense Military Working Dog Center in 1992. Together they raised two beautiful daughters, traveling the world together and making the most out of life. Tara launched her career as a para-substitute in Marysville, Washington at Pinewood Elementary where she ran the Rainbow Room with a focus in special education. She then started her teaching career in Dike, Iowa and finished her Bachelor’s Degree with Grand Canyon University, where she earned the distinction of Presidents List with a GPA of 3.8-4.0. This was the start of her new career as an elementary school teacher. She and her family relocated to Cape Coral, Florida where she then worked as a third grade teacher at Dr Carrie D Robinson Littleton Elementary School.

Tara is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Coleman and their two daughters Kaylyn Rose Coleman and Ashley Noel Coleman; her father Wayne Wille (Ruth); her sister Gina Glass (Duane) and her brother Sean Wille (Julie). She also leaves behind her favorite aunt and uncle Sandy and Delmer, along with her three best friends Tracy Ueland, Brittany Ponjavic and Janet Nelson.

Tara was preceded in death by her mother Belinda Wille.

A visitation for Tara will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
