Shayne was born in New Hartford, New York on February 14, 1989. He attended New Hartford Elementary School, Westmoreland School middle to junior year, relocated to Florida in 2006 and graduated from Ida Baker High School in 2007. He was graduating class of Motorcycle Mechanics Institute class of 2012.
Shayne enjoyed the outdoors and the peacefulness of being on the water. His absolute passion was fishing, especially the challenge of shark.
He was talented with construction work and loved tinkering on small engine repairs.
Shayne is known by his witty humor and was the jokester of the family. He would never let any opportunity pass to put a smile on someone’s face or make them laugh. Our lives have been significantly enriched by him and will always remain in our hearts.
Shayne was a very sincere person; he showed compassion for others and had a heart of gold. If you were fortunate to meet him, he was your friend for life. If you needed a helping hand, he provided it.
Shayne overcame his life struggles and was living a hopeful and productive life which made his family so extremely proud of him. His passing was unexpected and it was not related to any of his life’s struggles.
Shayne is predeceased by Bruce Hanno (step-father) who was his father. He is survived by:
Linnea Hanno-Provencher (mother), Jason Provencher (step-father), Kayleigh and Joe Harless (sister and brother-in-law), Kellie Hanno (sister), Tristen Provencher (step-brother), Kailey Provencher (step-sister), grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephew who will miss him dearly.
