Elizabeth Jane Campbell of Cape Coral passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017. She was born November 8, 1926, in Canisteo, New York. Jane, as she was called her in her younger years, moved with her family first to Jacksonville, and finally to Cape Coral in the early 70’s. She and her husband Mason started a Catholic gift shop, which eventually led to the statuary, Campbell’s Ornamental Concrete, which is still in business today. Elizabeth and her family attended St. Andrew Catholic Church, where she was actively involved in a women’s Bible study group. She and her family made countless friends through the business and the church.
For the last year and a half, Elizabeth enjoyed living at Juniper Village, where she made many friends and served as the president of the residents’ council.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Mason A. Campbell, Jr., and her children, Judith Campbell, Jeannine Mount, and William Campbell. She is survived by her children, Mason III (Pauline Brew), Beth, Paul (Joan), and Christopher (Stacey) Campbell. Elizabeth cherished her 16 grandchildren and her numerous great-grandchildren.
