She was born on October 21, 1950, in Orange, New Jersey to Leonard Coffey and Lorraine Wright Coffey. Raised in Verona, NJ, Debbie later attended Trenton State College. She worked for former publishing company The Economics Press in Fairfield, NJ.
Debbie married Kenneth Franklin 37 years ago in Verona. They lived together in Basking Ridge, NJ and Pomona, NY before moving to Cape Coral in 2012. Debbie loved spending time with family, friends and her Maggie, enjoyed playing bridge, walking and an occasional golf outing.
She is survived by her loving family including her husband, Kenneth; daughter Laura (Blake) Herrera of Cape Coral; stepchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Franklin of Annandale, NJ; Matthew (Margaret) Franklin of Basking Ridge; grandchildren, Owen Herrera, Steven Franklin, Andrew Franklin, Jessica Franklin, Maya Franklin, Jack Franklin, Kerry Franklin; brother Dennis (Virginia) Coffey of Furlong, PA; niece/godchild, Kathy C. McLaughlin, niece Melissa C. Ingraham; nephew Thomas Coffey; and her dog, Maggie. She is predeceased by brother Thomas Coffey. Deborah was devoted to all of them, and they all miss her deeply.
