Carol Adele Robson

Born on November 9, 1935, in Queens, New York she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Clarice Astwood Robson. Carol graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, St. Albans, NY n 1953. She was a 1956 graduate of Brooklyn School of Nursing at SUNY Health Center Kings County Hospital Center. She dedicated her life to caring for others with a nursing career that spanned 56 years. She was most recently employed at Grafton Health Center in Virginia.

A native New Yorker, Carol also lived in Texas, Virginia and most recently in Cape Coral, Florida.

She is survived by her five children, Cindy Fincham and her husband , Randy of Florida, Linda Foster and her husband, Timothy of Virginia: Jennifer Spost, of Texas; Lisa Shaw and her husband Michael of Maine; and her son Michael H. Smith of Texas. In addition, she is survived by nine grandchildren: Joseph, Danyell, Kaitlyn, Emily, Brittany, Nicholas, Ashley, Kayleigh and Michael and two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Logan. She is also survived by her brother, Robert N. Robson of North Carolina.

Carol was a family-oriented individual who enjoyed special times spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many.
