What a precious young lady she is. She has achieved so much in her short life as testified at her Memorial today. Her greatest achievement Being a follower of Jesus Christ ,, And worshiping the Lord in eternity. That is an achievement that I have accomplished in my life, knowing that I will spend eternity  in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ thank you Dawn for being such a good mother, and for Melody being such a great grandmother. Words cannot express how saddened I am for the loss of Alexia. She was a business owner of Alexia’s Boutique and promoted her business fully. When we spoke in late February 2024, she was so excited about her next steps as we thought back to her previous journey regarding her different classes. She was definitely a diamond and my life will forever be changed from simply meeting her through my son at FAU.

Alexia was a member of Fit For A King (FFAK) 2019. We at FFAK offer our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved daughter.  Her time with us was too short, but her impact was immeasurable. Alexia~..~ was a ray of sunshine and we will miss her beautiful spirit.

Leichon and I were devastated to hear about your passing. It feels surreal to think  that you're no longer with us. The memory of meeting you at the last family reunion remains vivid in our minds, and it's a memory we'll treasure forever. Your warmth, kindness, and beautiful soul left an indelible mark on us, and we are deeply grateful for the privilege of knowing you, even if it was for too short a time.

I want to send my condolences to Alexia Thompson's family. I did not know her personally, but have saw her around the FAU campus and we were set to graduate together on the same day. It is a monumental milestone and  I understand how important it would have been for her to cross that stage. From other students, I heard she was a hard worker and apart of the SPOT (Students in Physical and Occupational Therapy) committee. It is such a tragedy that this occurred. I hope that you all support each other through this hard time, and gather together to celebrate her as a successful woman who worked her way to earning her BA in Physical Therapy. She deserves her flowers, as she has left an impact in her studies and those who were close to her, who also happened to be my close associates and old friends.

In loving memory of Alexia, though we may not have had the privilege to know Alexia personally, her remarkable impact on family and friends speaks volumes of her character and spirit.  Our hearts ache alongside her family as we mourn her passing.  Yet, we find solace in the belief the gates of heaven welcome her with open arms, where she rests in eternal peace with her Heavenly Father.  May her cherished memories bring comfort for those she leaves behind, and may her legacy continue to inspire others.  Rest in peace, dear Alexia.

Although I was only able to know Alexia for a short time. I could see that she is someone with a lot of light in her and so much beauty inside and out. I admired her kindness, her passion and determination for whatever she set herself to do. Dear Lexi … it took me days to post here because I just didn’t want it to be real.. you’re the sweetest and most beautiful soul! You’ve impacted so many lives in the most amazing aspects! We shot for her swimsuit brand & i was so grateful to be apart it. I’ll never forget how sweet & caring she was to everyone around her. I’m happy to have gotten to experience her energy. She left us so soon but God needed his Angel back.

Alexia was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She was very ambitious and had so much going for her. It pains me to know she’s gone so soon.

Alexia you were the kindest most true to herself person I had ever met. The last three years of knowing you were and will continue to be a blessing. You helped me through so much and you always managed to put a smile on my face before we said our goodbyes to each other. Last time I saw you you  celebrated my birthday with me, you were the only one who came. I could count on my one hand the real friends I had and you were one of them. Your determination to never lose to the despairs of life, your kindness to all those around you, and the purity of your soul that pierced the hearts of all those that got to know you will never fade. I will carry you in my heart for as long as I continue to live.

To the Thompson family I can only say that I cannot imagine what you must be going through, Alexia touched the hearts of many, she will not be forgotten, and she will continue to inspire all those who knew her. I am sincerely sorry for her loss. If help is needed I am more than willing to offer it.

Alexia was so special. The way she shined, smiled, hustled, spoke was like no other. I can hear her voice in my head so angelic like it always has been. Ive never had a better best friend than her. I remember for my birthday my freshman year she decorated my locker and sang to me, she made me feel so important in a world that I was really struggling in at the time. She is the light in my life like she was to so many people. Lexie is my inspiration for a lot of things, she showed me to push my boundaries and believe in my self no matter the cost and I am beyond grateful for every memory and moment I had with her even tho I wish we got to experience so much more. She left a beautiful mark on this world and I already miss her and her unique personality. Looking back at all the memories of us at our lockers, practice, or games I’m glad I got to spend time that much time with you in and out of school.

I am saddened by the news about the passing of Alexia (Lexi).

Dwayne and I feel blessed to have had the privilege to watch Lexi grow over the years. Upon her last visit, we were impressed by the young lady she had become. Also how excited she was waiting for all to go to bed so she could put all her gifts around especially redo the interior of her grandma's car. I will never forget her passion and details. I was shy and timid when I started school at FAU, and alexia was the first and only person that attempted to talk to me and get to know me. My heart goes out to her friends and family and this sweet soul that we lost. She was truly a light and was who I looked forward to seeing every time I had class. Her impact and grace lives on. What a loss.. Such a beautiful positive person.. The sky was the limit for her and it truly pains me to realize that she won’t be able to see all the dreams that she was working so hard on achieving. You were radiant and touched many people with your glow! I'm very hurt to only have 2 years to knowing you and not enough memories in between! It hurts to know the night I tried texting you , that the following day you wasn't answering because something awful happened! It’s devastating💔 and truly heart breaking to find out! I am grateful to have shared the time we did have together, shared the moments we could and I will keep you in mind with every thing I do! She’s was one of the kindest and sweetest people you could ever cross paths with. I didn’t know her well enough on a personal level but we always passed by each other almost every and you couldn’t even help but to notice her everywhere she went. Knowing her was an honor, she made such an impact on all the women she led in Ladies Lift and her clients. She gave them all the courage to be confident and know they are capable in the gym.

I remember going to high school with Alexia. She was always so sweet when we were in gym class and always seemed so involved.  I remember talking to her in the locker room and how bright her smile was. She was always so positive and will be missed❤️

I remember meeting Alexia in college. She was moving into a new room during the semester. I helped her move into her room on a random night during the spring semester of Covid. That was the first time I met her. She was so welcoming and generous. Every time I saw her after that she always said hello to me. I am sorry for your loss.

Alexia, you're the most driven light I know.  The best manifester of reality. You delivered so much light,  love and compassion to this realm... i met you about 4 years ago in forex and was crushing so hard until you told me you were straight haha from that point on you became a soul sister. Even when i came back home to mn, your mark on me was imprinted. You'd comment on my dance videos and continue to be a long distant friend... I never and will never forget you and your beautifully infectious smile. Your child like heart but grown woman work ethic. You inspired me in such a short period of time.... and now I will continue carrying the legacy of black excellence for you, sweets. I know you will forever be with all you love. Forever. I had the honor of knowing Alexia the past couple of months.  This is truly heartbreaking. I loved how I could be myself around her. She became one of my closet friends, and inspired me to work harder at life. She is a beautiful being inside and out, and I know words cannot describe what the world has lost. An intelligent young woman who was on a mission to do so many things in life. Alexia’s passing was a loss to so many. My deepest condolences to all her loved ones and her family. Started My Job About a Year ago, and being new to a job was a bit scary. But instantly me and her clicked 🫶🏼 . She was always so happy & full of life, We always had our moments of #Girltalk between our shifts , a no judgment zone.! We were from two different worlds but that didn’t stop a friendship! Even with her moving on to her next journey, we kept contact and always made sure we still had our #GirlTalks . Knowing Alexia was to love Alexia. She always came to work with such a great attitude, always smiling, eager to learn & always in a high spirit mood! When I heard the news, my heart instantly broke !!  I’m still in belief , and really wish this was a dream! I’m going to miss you my girl 🫶🏼 Condolences to Her family, especially her mother who she always mentioned how close they were ❤️❤️

My hearts hurts to see this. I never got to meet your beautiful self in person, but I worked along side of your mom who was always so proud of you! Your mom always shared pictures and your accomplishments with us.  My condolences to Dawn and her family and friends during this difficult time.

Alexia was my first real friend at FAU. Deciding to room together for a year was having sunshine indoors. A girls girl all the way. when our lives got busier it never changed our bond we always made it a point to catch up in those random places we would see each other. A pick up right where you left off type of friendship. She taught me how to respond with love when the world wasn’t kind enough. A once in a lifetime person. Always laughing, telling people we were related when they confused us at the dining hall.  Words will never do enough justice to who she was. She introduced me to my passion and I can never thank God enough for the three and a half years he gave me with her.  I wish peace and healing to all who got to experience her beautiful soul. 

 I hope you’re dancing in the sky, and if you see him, tell him i said hi. Never enough words to explain this feeling. I can only be thankful for such beautiful memories.  Never thought i’d live in a world without your light. I love you thank you for everything angel, fly high 💗

I remember my first day Cape Coral High School.  I was so nervous and I had no idea why. If Lexie had not been there with me throughout my first day, I would not have made it through without completely breaking down in tears. She was the best friend ever. Such an extremely kind soul, and always put others before herself. I’m going to love and miss you forever, Lexie. 💔

Lexi was that friend who you always knew was a call away. We could go weeks without talking then pick up where we left off. She was the first person I told about the biggest moment of my life and she was there through all of it. Lexi was a once in a life time type of person. She lit up the room with her smile, could make anyone laugh at any time, could take the worst moments and make them the best and most of all, push you through that last 400. Lexi will forever be someone I met and be lucky to call such a good friend even like a sister through high school and afterwards. She was the best of the best and anyone lucky to know her, knows she was the most genuine it got. 
I miss and love you a lot. I know you’ll always be watching over and still somehow give me motivation everyday.

Alexia was my Physical Therapy Technician last year. She was the brightest light in the clinic every day that she was present. She never failed to amaze me by her inquisitive demeanor, always asking questions, and wanting to learn more about the physical therapy world. I was honored when she asked me to write a letter of recommendation for her doctoral application, and was ecstatic to receive a text message from her telling me she was accepted a little over a month ago. She was going to be such a great clinician; she already was. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken to hear that one of the most empathetic, compassionate, and genuine souls I have ever known is gone. Praying for Alexia’s family and friends at this time, and thanking God for allowing me to cross paths with her in this lifetime. ❤️

Alexia was one of my closest friends and longest friends at FAU. I can’t even fathom this. I literally talked to her 3 days ago. She was the sweetest soul ever and was accomplishing whatever she put her mind to. I will miss your presence and when we would hang out and I just talk for hours and hours about everything and anything. You are so missed already. Sending all my love and support🤍
