Virginia Ann Sims

January 21, 1953—January 6, 2022

Ginny was born in McComb, Mississippi, her family moved to Houston during her early childhood. She attended Bellaire High School.

While attending Bellaire she developed a love for music and learned to play the bass guitar. After graduation, she used this skill to perform with several local bands, not only in Texas but in other states as well. She found the traveling interesting and fun. Throughout her life while traveling, she met many people across the country who became life long friends. It was during this time she began taking pictures. She combined photography with her love of crafting into a greeting card business. Her strong faith in God was often reflected in these cards.

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, Freddy and Helene Sehrt formerly of Canton, Texas.

Survivors include sister, Kathy Bridges and husband, Dale of Maryland; niece, Anise Richey of Vermont; best friend, Vickie Bond of Pflugerville, TX; and former husband and friend, Tony Sims of Houston.

Although she will be missed by her family and friends, we can find solace in knowing Ginny is with the Lord whom she loved so much.
