Steve Smith

Services for Stephen Paul Smith, 73, of Canton, will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Graham Delk and Robert Smith officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Mr. Smith passed away September 28, 2022 in Tyler. He was born March 8, 1949 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Lloyd Watson and Mary Christine Anderson Smith.

Steve was a Catholic by faith. He grew up in Clarksville, TX where he graduated high school. Steve managed several grocery stores and restaurants during his career. He enjoyed drag racing, crossword puzzles, the Dallas Cowboys and karaoke. Steve loved his family and friends.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Chris Smith; sister, Barbara Cook, and a brother, Richard Smith.

Steve is survived by his wife, Teresa Smith of Canton; daughter, Aimee and Reginald Lewis of Tyler; son, Paul and Amy Smith of Allen; daughter, Misty and Graham Delk of Canton, daughter, Cristy and Michael McDowell of Flint; son, Dustin and Gulsah Weatherford of Katy; son, Will Jones and Rebekah Cornell of Dallas; fifteen grandchildren; brother, Larry Smith of Clarksville; brother, Robert and Karen Smith of Paris; sister-in-law, Leanne and Tom Perry of Canton; father-in-law, Leroy and Joy Crabtree of Canton; and his dog, Buddy.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Huson, Rusty Newsom, Rick Evans, Tom Perry, Caleb Smalling, Jimmy Little and Charles (Bogey) Barton.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
