Sharon Stanger Clarkson

Sharon passed away December 4, 2015 in Ben Wheeler. She was born May 26, 1951 in Grand Saline, TX to the late Lavern Rudolph and Wilma Jean Shinn Stanger.

Sharon was a member of the Colfax Baptist Church. She became a registered nurse and worked for both medical and mental health facilities for 37 years. Sharon enjoyed playing the piano and started playing for her family church as a young girl. She loved fishing at her pond and spending time with her family and loved ones.

Ms. Clarkson is survived by Dan Clarkson of Ben Wheeler; daughter, Jessica Crees and Kenneth Booten, II, of Kilgore; son, Colin Clarkson and Rachael Olan of Austin; 3 grandsons: Cayce, A.J. and Zachary; 4 brothers: Joey Stanger of Tyler; Robert, Doug and Steve Stanger of Ben Wheeler; friend, Jack Huddle of Ben Wheeler; numerous other relatives including aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an Angel Tree.
