Rodney Ray McFarlin

Rodney passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was born April 18, 1965, in Castro Valley, California, to Richard Donald McFarlin and Patricia Lynn Roberts McFarlin. Rodney was very big into family and considered his perfect day to be spent playing with his beloved grandchildren. Over the years, they took numerous trips to the Castle Park in Canton and enjoyed the outdoors or playing in the pool. His family also considered him to be the World’s Best BBQ-er and had a stunning recipe for chicken and pineapple. Rodney was also a huge animal lover and an avid coin collector who proceeded to take his coins with him everywhere he went.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Patricia McFarlin; nephew, Joshua McFarlin; aunt, Jimmie Lue Hensley and cousins: Andy, Allen and Daniel Jackson.

Rodney is survived by his beloved wife, Christi McFarlin; sons: Donald and Jessica Galloway, Ryan and Amanda McFarlin, Dale and Shannon Heidleburg; 10 precious grandchildren; brothers: Shannon McFarlin, Sidney McFarlin, Ronnie McFarlin; sisters: Angela and Jonathan Cross, Stephanie Hammond; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
