Fred attended school and graduated from Kermit, Texas in 1957. His college years were spent at Texas A.&M., West Tyler State, and Howard Payne University.
Fred married Shirley Davis Hudson on October 11, 1958. They were married for 65 years and had three children. Murray Hudson, Sandy Miller Sweetin and Amy Warren.
Fred worked for several companies in the oil business. The last of which was Texaco. He later started his own business Ro-Cip Equipment Specialist. Primarily analyzing large engines and compressors. He truly had a teacher’s heart. Training oil company’s employees and teaching Sunday school. His life of travel and work was a true passion to him.
He loved to fish and hunt and collected and read about the Civil War. He also liked his cigars, wine and always the beach and ocean. His wishes were to be cremated. Most of all he loved God and his family. The family consisted of his loving wife, Shirley, their three children, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and sister, Sandra Callaway.
He is now home in heaven with our Lord and Savior.
