Dorothy Jean Crowell

Services for Dorothy Jean Crowell, 79, of Mesquite, are scheduled for Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, officiated by Bro. Steve Glosup under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Haven of Memories.

Mrs. Crowell passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 in Plano.

Dorothy was born on April 5, 1935 in Dallas to Mack and Ethel Mae Bursby Rogers.

She was Baptist by faith. Dorothy was a great cook, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and playing video games with her grandkids. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved having her family around her.

Mrs. Crowell is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, A.J. Crowell, Daughter, Brenda Kay Oliver, Grandson, Jeremy Lee Oliver, Great Grand babies: Reese &Reed Jernigan, and 12 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by Daughter, Donna Jean Hart of Canton, Daughter, Nelda Darlene and Carl Murphy of Mesquite, Sister, Frances Prentice of Frisco, Brother, Jimmy Rogers of Van Alstine, 3 Grandchildren: Julie & Anthony Salvato of Canton, Will & Lindsey Hart of Bentonville, Arkansas and Lauren Jernigan of Mesquite, and 4 Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Baylee, Riley and Liam.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
