A celebration of life for Clifton Junior Pierce, 85, of Mesquite TX (formerly of Canton) will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton Texas, with Dr. Charles Wilson officiating.
Cliff passed away peacefully on December 10, 2020 in Dallas TX after battling Alzheimer's. He was born in Tundra TX to Joe Pierce and Allie Dee Tindel Pierce. Cliff grew up in the Canton area with six siblings. On March 5, 1955 he married his true love, Judy Mills. Cliff was the owner of a small engine repair and lawn equipment sales business in Dallas for many years. He could fix almost anything. When he wasn't repairing equipment or helping his daughters, Cliff could be found taking care of his lawn, which he really enjoyed. He loved bowling, fishing, playing cards with friends, and traveling. Cliff was a member of Sunnyvale First Baptist Church for many years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who deeply loved his family. Cliff was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Judy Pierce; daughters Donna Wray; Deanna Hilbert and husband Mark; grandchildren Jeff Valladarez, Natalie Gonzalez and husband Michael, Joey Valladarez and wife Heather, Bobby Cottrell and wife Toni-Ann, Dylan Hilbert and Ethan Hilbert, and eight great-grandchildren; sisters Donna Norrell, Linda Woodruff and husband Bill, brothers Kenneth Pierce and wife Laverne, Mike Pierce and wife Dianne, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, daughter Debra Pierce Aldridge, and son Mark Pierce.
