Bonnie Lou Teal

Bonnie went home to the Lord on February 13, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. She was born on March 13, 1923 in Edgewood, Texas to Barney Barbee Goggans and Treby Anne Hindman Goggans.

Bonnie grew up in Edgewood, Texas and graduated from Edgewood High School. On June 4, 1945 she married her one true love, Paul M. Teal. The couple had 49 beautiful years at his passing. Bonnie was Methodist by faith. Bonnie was blessed to have seen and been a part of this every changing world for 99 years. Her wisdom from this was in actions; Bonnie found the simplest pleasure from this world is sitting and watching the robins and bluebirds in her cedar trees. Her greatest joy was family. Bonnie was blessed to be surrounded by her family and loved spending time with them.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Treby Goggans; husband, Paul Teal; brother, J. R. Goggans; sister, Jamie Slaughter.

Those here to cherish her memories her son, Dr. Dennis Teal and wife, Sharon of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Walter Teal and wife, Kachel of Livingston, Texas, Brandon Lee and wife, Wendy of Livingston, Texas, Roper Lee and wife, Dr. Tiffany Lee of Livingston, Texas; great grandchildren, Justice Teal, Liberty Teal, Ryder Lee, Autumn Lee, Michael Childress, Makela Childress, Niki Childress and Katie Childress; great great grandchild, Isabella; sister in-law, Shirley Goggans of Round Rock, Texas; niece, Bonnie Bruce and husband, Mark, of Round Rock, Texas; nephew, Ron Goggans and spouse, Jim Butler of New Hampshire; great nieces, Austin and Avery Bruce and a multitude of cousins.
