Ramon was born on August 9, 1938 in Manila, Philippines to his parents, the late Clemente and Magdalena (Garcia) Santos. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate of 56 years, Amor; children: Wilfred (Cora), Arlene (Victor) and Ann Marie (Kenneth); grandchildren: R.C., Tyler (Hangil), Sophia, Brandon, Emma and Ashley.
With immense courage, in 1969, he set forth on a journey to a new country, forsaking all he knew for the betterment of his wife and children's future. Ramon was so proud to be an American. His life became a living example of humility, generosity, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to family—a testament to his enduring work ethic and diligence.
Ramon, a honored graduate of The University of the East and Certified Public Accountant, embarked on a remarkable 60-year accounting career, culminating in the founding of his own successful company, R.G. Santos & Co. Accountants, Inc. Outside the financial world, he found joy in socializing with friends, playing golf and bowling, trying his luck in Las Vegas, and never missing a chance to brag about his beloved grandchildren.
Ramon will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will continue on as our guardian angel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00am in St. Michael Catholic Church with Father Connor Hetzel as celebrant. Christian burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday 6:00-8:00pm in Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
