Mary was born in Cleveland to the late Robert and Robina (Leonard) Semple. She was a long-time member of the John Knox Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and quilting in her free time.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Nichter, and her two brothers, Steven and Leonard Semple.
Mary is survived by her four children: Chuck (Bonnie), Bruce, Jeff (Amy), and Scott (Paula) Nichter; one granddaughter, Tessa Nichter, one great-grandson, Ethan Houchen, and nieces and nephews: Janet Albright and Steven and Barb Semple.
Per Mary's wishes, a cremation will take place. Calling hours will be held at John Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 10-11 am with a Memorial Service beginning at 11 am with Reverend Dr. Michael W. Smith officiating.
