Lou was born March 1, 1925 in North Canton to the late John and Irene (Hall) Danner. Lou was number seven of twelve siblings. She was a graduate of Middlebranch High School. On November 14, 1944, Lou married James "Jim" Howe and they celebrated 68 years of marriage before he passed in 2013. Lou loved spending time with her family, giving them giggles. She also enjoyed housekeeping, moving furniture, and reading. Lou was also an animal lover.
Lou is survived by her four daughters: Susan Domanico, Joyce (Alan) Ring, Heather (Brad) Evans, and Lisa Whitten; 11 grandchildren: Renee, Colette, Kevin, Sean, Zac, Tiffany, Joe, Julie, Jim, Sarah, and Susie; 24 great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, four cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Lou is preceded in death by eight brothers, three sisters, two sons-in-law, Bob Domanico and Mike Whitten, and one great-grandson, Sam.
Per Lou's wishes, a cremation will take place and she will be privately laid to rest next to her husband at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
