He was born February 8, 1935 in Canton, Ohio to the late Otto and Margaret Dyer. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired from the Akron Beacon Journal. He was a member of Louisville First Assembly of God. Tom will be remembered as an avid Cleveland sports fan who enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Bill. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley M. Dyer; children, Guy Dyer of Apopka, FL; Sherri (Daniel) Nordick of Louisville, OH, and Joy (Bill) Nordick of Massillon, OH; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Deloris Shull; and brothers, Harold, Roland, Ted, and Keith Dyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Deem officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 6-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
