Ida M. Killian (nee Croak) age 82 of Canton joined her lord and savior September 18, 2013. She was born Dec. 3, 1930 in Cadiz, Ohio to the late Raymond and Stella Croak (nee Pickins). She was employed at Troy Laundry and Dry Cleaning and the O’Neil Co. in retail cosmetic sales. She retired and moved to Englewood Florida in 1982. She returned to Canton in 2005. She was a member and regular volunteer of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Raymond Croak Jr., husbands Evan Thompson and Bernard Killian. She is survived by daughter Sandra Hoop (nee Thompson), son-in-law Earl Hoop, granddaughter Meghan Whipp (Daniel Savage), Great grandchildren, Evhan Bell, London, Ashley and Riley Savage, sister Raetta Karto and special niece Sherry Kutcher. Her greatest joy was her family. She was an avid reader and golfer. She was a faithful follower of the Cleveland Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed the company of many Special friends.
There will be a celebration of life at Faith United Methodist Church, 300 9th St. NW, North Canton OH at 2 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2013.
In lieu of flower, donations may be given to the American Heart Association and Breast Cancer Research.
