Frederick E. "Rick" Gerber

Born September 16, 1948, to the late Earl and Mildred “Honey” Gerber.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Gerber. He is survived by his son, Steve Gerber; sister, Tammy Carbone; sister-in-law; Sue Gerber; nieces, Kerri (Tim) Seymour, and Kristin Myers; and nephew, James Gerber.

Rick was a graduate of Perry High School class of 1967. After graduation, he moved to Southern California. Most of his career was spent working with Nationwide Auction Systems as Vice President of Operations. Upon retirement in 2007 Rick returned to Canton, Ohio, where he reunited with family and friends. Rick served as a Trustee with McKinley Eagles #2370.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the McKinley Eagles #2370, located at 5024 Monticello Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio 44708, on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Prayer service will begin at 1PM. Food will be served immediately following the service.
