Dominique Patterson

Dominique Marie Patterson, 27, of Canal Fulton, OH, closed her eyes and found peace on Sunday, November 10, 2024, after a brave fight against pneumonia and a complicated heart condition. Known to her loved ones as “Dom-Dom,” she lived fiercely, unapologetically, and with a heart full of love.

She is survived by her two cherished daughters, Meleah Joy Newman and Serenity Rayne Patterson; her mother, Courtney Patterson; her sister, Alexis Patterson; her brother, Justin Rose; her grandparents, Monet Mayou ("Nana"), Molly Mayou ("Gran"), and Bob and Judy Patterson ("Grandfather" and Step-Grandmother); her aunt, Teresa (Tia) Mayou; and many other aunts, uncles, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Allianna Rannea Patterson; her father, Mack Rose Jr.; and her cousin, Zach Fornash.

Dominique was a safe harbor not only for people but for every stray animal that crossed her path. Her love for animals was boundless—a true reflection of her compassionate spirit. She had a knack for turning even the smallest moments into something extraordinary, lighting up the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Dominique’s soul was rare—bright, fierce, and unforgettable. She was the kind of person who could make you laugh on your darkest day and remind you of life’s magic in the simplest of ways.

A visitation for Dominique will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718.
