Charles Ellsworth Brinkley III

He was born on June 11, 1950 in Massillon to the late Charles and Dorothy (Paul) Brinkley. He was a 1970 graduate of Glenwood High School. Charles proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from McKesson Corporation after 30 years.

Our Dad was our greatest influence on life. Anyone whoever met him knew his compassion and kind heart. He showed us how to love unconditionally. His true passion in life was his family, friends, and running. Dad completed numerous full and half marathons, some of which were right alongside his son, Charles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Brinkley; sister, Joanne Davis; wife, Bonnie Brinkley; and nephew, Wayne "Buster" Davis. Charles is survived by his son, Charles Brinkley IV; daughter, Stephanie (Derek) Little; grandchildren, Lucas Brinkley, Daniela, Penelope, Lucia, and Natalia Brinkley; and nieces and nephews, James (Dawn) Davis, David Davis, Jerry Davis, Dorothy Davis, Tammy Davis, and Samantha Henry.
