Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lennard and Rose (Gussman) Weber.
Beloved wife of Stephen Machinton. Loving mother of Rachel Machinton and Leni-Sarah (Machinton) Boucher and her husband Michael Boucher. Cherished grandmother of Cameron Austin Boucher and Jarred Boucher.
She graduated from Akiba Hebrew Academy and went on to study Russian literature at Columbia University. After college she worked for Family Planning Council at Pennsylvania Hospital. After moving to Milwaukee, WI, she was a Dance Slimnastics instructor for several years. She decided that the best way to help others was to become a lawyer. She attended Marquette University Law School where she graduated summa cum laude. Her legal career included working with Elder Care Services when she moved to Massachusetts, and as an attorney for the Department of Children and Families for the Commonwealth of MA.
Nancy was an active, lifetime member of Hadassah, most recently with the Sharon-Stoughton Chapter. She had a love of animals and was the owner, breeder and handler of champion collies.
