David Stone

Beloved husband of 72 years to the late Rita Stone. Devoted father of Diane M. Argile and her late husband Robert, and Richard Stone and his wife Veronica. Loving brother of late Irene Belt and George Stone. Cherished grandfather of Zachary M. Stone and his wife Samantha, and Evan Stone and his wife Shani. Dear great-grandfather to Lucas, Amaliya, and Eloise.

David was an upholsterer and a long time employee of the Boston Globe. He proudly served his country during the WWII era in the US Navy. David enjoyed growing tomatoes, playing cards, Vegas, and most of all – being a family man. His generosity and compassion will not be forgotten, and he will truly be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30th at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA, with burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
