Daughter of the late Sarah (Echicovitz) and Louis Tattlebaum. Loving wife of Gerald C. Kohn. Beloved mother of Elyse Hoffman and her husband Howard of New Jersey, and Susan Kurtz and her husband Jonathan of Virginia. Cherished grandmother of Audrey Hoffman, Steven Kurtz and Dylan Kurtz. Sister of the late Paula, Arlene, and Gerry.
Bernice was born in Boston, MA on June 9, 1943. Cookie was an Elementary School Teacher in Randolph, MA. She was dedicated to political and charitable causes and was a fundraiser for many years for Combined Jewish Philanthropies. She also devoted much of her spare time to NOW (National Organization for Women).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
