Lisa Marie Rennick (née Olsen), 48, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2023 in Woodland Hills, CA. She was born on October 19, 1974 in Tarzana, CA. Lisa attended St. Jane Frances de Chantal School, graduated from St. Genevieve High School in 1992, attended and graduated from Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts in 1998, and went on to work as a Local 706 makeup artist for 20 years at KTLA, TVG, and for weddings and events.
On July 30, 2011 she was reunited with the love of her life, Alan Rennick, and they were married on December 7, 2017 in honor of her deceased father's birthday. They were married for almost 6 precious years until she went home to be with the Lord.
Lisa was beloved by all who knew her; she had a smile that could light up a room, a voice that could warm any heart, and a sense of humor and infectious laugh that would bring people to tears. She loved fiercely and was deeply caring and protective of those she loved, her sister Christina (Chrissy) in particular. She had a passion for all of God's creatures, especially her cats Mr. Bitty and Minnie who both wanted nothing more than to cuddle with her.
Above all Lisa had a deep love of the Truth of salvation found in the Bible, and a unique ability and passion to discern when even the smallest of errors were mixed into teachings from it. She wanted everyone to be saved for eternity by God's grace through our faith that the atoning blood sacrifice by Jesus Christ on the cross paid for every one of our sins. She will be deeply missed.
Lisa is survived by her husband Alan; mother Diane Zadroga-Haase (Teresia); sister Christina (Chrissy) Olsen; brother Brian Olsen (Stephanie) and nephew Oliver; aunt Loretta Norton (Darren) and cousin Joy Bahmer (Logan) with children James, Morgan, and Margaret (Maggie); and many extended family members.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father William (Bill) Olsen; grandparents Matthew J. and Gladys Zadroga; uncle Matthew E. Zadroga; and grandfather Victor Olsen.
A memorial service for Lisa will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 starting promptly at 3:30PM at:
