Kenneth Wallace Kendrick, age 87 passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Kenneth was born September 14, 1937 to Wallace and Anne Kendrick in Los Angeles, California. Grew up in Leimert Park, CA attending Dorsey High School and the University of Southern California. Married July 10, 1959 to Carol Dawn Sorenson in Manti, Utah. Spent his career at Leed Plastics Corporation following his required military service in the California Army National Guard. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in many callings and volunteer positions in his local congregations in Woodland Hills, CA throughout his life. A dedicated and loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his children Douglas Paul and Cynthia Dawn (Matthew) Norris, three grandchildren, Julie Norris, Kyle (Sabrina) Norris, Jacob Norris, and one great-grandchild, Killian Norris.
A funeral service for Kenneth will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 9:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10123 Oakdale Ave., Chatsworth, CA 91311.
Kenneth will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Park, Chatsworth, CA 91311.
