I remember you with your long pigtails swinging back and forth as you walked or ran across the playground in elementary school. Knowing you most of my life has been an honor. Much love.

Cindy Lou, it's hard to believe I'm not gonna hear your voice or see your text  saying "Anna Hernandez!" God knew what He was doing when not too long ago, He allowed us to be roommates/housemates for almost a year. To reconnect a much needed friendship. You were a spark of life! I'm grateful for your loving friendship! We talked, laughed, cried, prayed, encouraged each other, ate some good food, watched movies, listened to music, watched football (rooting for the wrong team though. Hahaha). Oh and yeah, can't forget the scary racoons on the roof and the kitties born in the backyard, who you just had to name .. Sissy La La, Buster, & Tiger. Crazy girl. We had a good time together. Even had a couple heated moments. Nothing our friendship couldn't handle. You know, it's all good! Man, oh man - it was too short. As for your son, I see you in him. Even down to that beautiful smile. He was right on, when he said you were fearless. Yes, you were fearless, yet a softy. LOL You did good with him. What a huge heart you had. Always looking out for all of us. Me & some of our friends, since we were kids. What stands out the most, is you'd always said family first, no natter what. That's how you stayed humble. You made it your priority. You were fierce in praying for you family, for your son, for you girl, Gloria. You had your altar with "your Ladies", Virgin Mary, candles, pictures, a cross. You had faith in God's love & power. Family is first was what you dreamed of. What we've gone through in life. You came to that conclusion. You always visited your mom. You honored her, you loved her. Your love for your family was strong. I admired that so much. I pray for God to bless your family as your heart desired. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for allowing me to be yours. Until we meet again. As you'd tell me - you're my homegirl, my long time friend. Dance and sing away girl. I love you. 💜 A purple heart for you. 💜
