Terry and I would like to send our condolences to the members of Steven’s family.  We had the pleasure of working at CMS  and seeing Steven daily. He was always scurrying around completing his janitorial tasks, but loved to chat whenever he could.  He always had a laugh with us , or made a teasing remark. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Steven’s passing. Terry and I worked with Steven at the Middle School for many years. He was always smiling and loved to chat. Rest In Peace Steven.  Our sincerest  Condolences to his family.

As a former student of CMS, I remember asking myself who was this student getting called to the office so often as I repeatedly heard: "Steven Whalen come to the office. Steven Whalen come to the office." It was only during the second year that I made the connection that Steven was the friendly and always smiling member of the staff.   RIP Steven.

I remember well the day that I baptized Steven  at the Campbellton Regional Hospital where his father was a patient at the time.   we were joined by other family members and it was probably the most memorable baptism that I have ever done.
We should remember Steven as one who sought change in his life and succeeded. I was immensely proud of Steven and pray that we should not be afraid to embrace change in our life when it is needed.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Stephen's siblings and extended family.  Stephen and I go way back.  He was a janitor when I attended school, then we worked together at the Campbellton Middle School and these past years it was always such a pleasure chatting with Stephen each and everytime he would come into Sobeys where I work.  He was always laughing, and always joking.  I will miss seeing him around.  Rest in Peace Stephen.
