Mary Josephine Vautour Gaudin

Passed away in Brockville, Ontario on January 7, 2014 at the age of 86, Mrs. Marie Josephine Gaudin formerly of Escuminac, wife of the late Clifford Gaudin. Born on December 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Cyril Vautour and the late Emma Gauthier.

She was an active member of Adult Day Brockville, Ont. In the past she was an active member of The Golden Age Club in Pointe-à-la-Garde, Québec for many years.

Devoted mother of Rachel Thorne (Ken) of Stoney Creek, Doreen Brennan (Raymond) of Brockville, Sheila Esson (Wayne) of Brockville, Patricia Kennedy (Allan) of Brockville, cherished grandmother of several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, loving sister of Gerry Vautour (Rose) of Pointe-à-la-Croix (QC), several nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers- in- law. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Gaudin, five children Sterling, Ruth, Miles, Judy and Merle, one sister Emma, three brothers Adelard, Marcel and Arthur, one granddaughter and two greatgrandchildren.

The funeral service was held from Maher’s Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on Saturday January 11th at 2pm. Reverend Ross Wiseman officiating. Interment at the Escuminac United Cemetery.

Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street Campbellton, Friday from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday at the Chapel one hour before the service.
