Jerry Ferguson

Jerry was born on June 18, 1944 in Campbellton, NB to the late Clifton Ferguson and the late Ella MacLeod.

Jerry worked as a Pipe fitter at the Atholville Mill until his retirement in 2008. During his past time he loved being on the Restigouche River. Whether he was fishing, or picking fiddleheads, being on the river was his happy place. He was a dedicated father, and grandfather first, and foremost. He treasured his children, and grandchildren, and was treasured by them. He cherished every moment he was able to spend with them. Anyone who had the privilege to cross his path, work alongside him always spoke of his kindness, and big heart.

He is survived by his daughter Melody (Sonny) Johnson, of Campbellton, NB, his son Jody (Christine) Ferguson of Telkwa, BC, his grandchildren, Savannah, Brandon, Justice, Joshua, Kaleb, Nash, Everly, his sister Marjorie Ferguson Chamberlain, sister Gloria Lovegrove, his twin brother Joel, and brother Greg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, and stepmother Lenna Ferguson, he was predeceased by his wife, Wendy Cooling Ferguson, sister Sharon Gregoire, and sister Marilyn Edgren.

A Funeral Service for Jerry will be held at Maher's funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Friday, December 27th, at 4:00 pm

The family will welcome family and friends at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. Campbellton on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of service.

The family wishes to extend a sincere Thank You to the “ALP” staff at Bursary Towers. His Extra-Mural nurses. The ICU, Surgical floor nurses, physicians and staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. We will be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion they gave to our father, and family during this difficult time.
